2+2 Bachelor’s Degree Program — Earn a Bachelor’s degree with requirements
completed at BITS and Iowa State University

  • Duration: 2 years at BITS, 2 years at ISU
  • Semesters 1-4: complete two years of course work and research requirements at BITS
  • Semesters 5-8: complete the remaining course work and research requirements at ISU
  • Credits are transferred from BITS to ISU
  • Degrees will be earned from ISU

International Concurrent Program Master’s degree at ISU — Earn a BITS University Bachelor’s degree and Iowa State University Master’s degree

  • Duration: 7 semesters at BITS, 3 semesters at ISU
  • Semesters 1-6: Coursework at BITS
  • Semester 7: Apply for program and coursework at BITS
  • Semester 8: Transfer to ISU and continue with master’s coursework at ISU
  • Semesters 9+: Master’s coursework at ISU

Dual Doctorate Degree Program — Earn a joint BITS Pilani (IBITS) and Iowa State (ISU) Ph.D. degree

  • Duration: 2 years at BITS 2 years at ISU 
  • Years 1-2: complete research requirements at BITS (or ISU)
  • Years 3-4: complete the remaining research requirements at Iowa State (or BITS)
  • Credits are transferred between BITS and ISU, abiding by mutual regulation

Your application for admission to ISU also serves as your application for any available funding. Students are responsible for paying ISU tuition and fees. Actual program completion time depends on student progress.
