A Construction Engineer
In The Making

A good construction engineer learns to build strong working relationships to manage and complete projects using the latest in technology. You participate in teams responsible for developing proposals, solving problems, managing projects and researching information. Your courses teach you how to work successfully with clients, crews, community leaders and other engineers to finish projects.

Your Discovery In The Making

Higher, larger, safer, better—construction engineers build dreams, whether those dreams are buildings, bridges, roadways or any other component of physical infrastructure. Construction engineers develop relationships with clients and lead teams to turn plans into reality. They are detail-oriented people who solve problems and answer questions like: How much will this project cost to build? What people and equipment will be needed for this project and at what stage in the process? How can a project be completed in an energy-efficient, eco-friendly way?

Because they have a broad range of skills—planning, project management, scheduling, purchasing and financing—construction engineers are in high demand. Learn how to tackle big-vision projects such as skyscrapers, transportation systems, educational facilities, office complexes and manufacturing plants—places where people live, work and play.
