Step 1: International Institution Coordinator (IIC) reviews and selects students to complete the pre-application form
Step 2: Nominated student is provided a link to the pre-application form
Step 3: Nominated student fills out the pre-application form
Step 4: ICC fills out a recommendation form for the nominated student
Step 5: ISU Engineering program coordinator provides ISU Director of Graduate Education (DOGE) with the pre-application material
Step 6: Pre-application is reviewed by DOGE and/or ISU faculty
Step 7: DOGE accepts/rejects the applicants for admission and notifies the ISU Engineering Program Coordinator of admissions decision
- ISU Engineering Program Coordinator keeps record of all approved students.
- ISU Graduate College is notified of approved students.
Step 8: The ISU Engineering Program Coordinator coordinates next steps
- An approved-student is invited to fill out the Graduate College official application.
- Accepted student is provided a coupon code to waive the application fee.
- Conditionaly accepted students work on conditions.
- Denied students go no-further.
Step 9: Official ISU Graduate College application
- Accepted students complete and submit all application material for graduate program.
- Official TOEFL
- Official Transcripts
- Financial Statement
- GRE scores – unless waived
- No reference letters are required
Step 10: Admission to ISU College of Engineering Graduate Programs
- ISU Graduate College reviews the applications for completeness and verification
- Students are admitted
- ISU Graduate College places a hold on student records each semester until proof of Bachelor’s degree is completed.
- ISU Engineering Program Coordinator reminds student about Bachelor’s degree completion
