Step 2: Talk with Students about program
- Discuss and explain the program to the students
- Encourage qualified students to apply to the program
Step 3: Nominate Students
- Selecting student(s) who would be successful within the program
- High GPA
- Research experience
- TOEFL
Step 4: Guide Students through pre-application
- Provide student(s) with link to pre-application
- Assist student(s) to fill out each part of the pre-application
Step 5: Submit recommendation form for the nominated Students
- Fill out a recommendation for nominated student(s)
- Submit form to ISU Coordinator for your school
Step 6: Prepare Students for general graduate student application at Iowa State University
- Submit transcripts to Iowa State University Graduate College
- Send in TOEFL scores (minimum accepted below)
- Internet Based TOEFL (iBT) 79
- Paper-Based TOEFL (PBT) 550
- IELTS 6.5
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) 53
Step 7: Help admitted Students to prepare to join Iowa State University
- Guide through the VISA process
- Help coordinate air travel
- Assist with transition to Iowa State University
- Provide information for housing and other options, etc.
Step 8: Support Students transition to Iowa State University
- Stay in touch with your student
