I am interested in the numerical modeling of fluid dynamics and transport processes in physical and biological systems. I use my expertise in the theory of pattern formation and high-performance computing to answer pioneering questions on neurological disorders, microbial dynamics, and more. Current research interests include cerebrospinal fluid flow, transport, and reaction-advection-diffusion processes in the brain, the dynamics of bacteria in the presence of fluid flow, fluid dynamics of autocatalytic reaction fronts, and spiral defect chaos.
