Experience

With six years in medical devices and four years in seed research equipment, Jess is working with colleagues to enhance the Biological and Biomanufacturing Systems Technology option in the Industrial Technology program. Focusing on industry partnerships, Jess is bringing real-world applications to further enhance student engagement in program coursework.

My career path has been less than straight, so I am living proof that it’s okay to not know exactly what you want to do and to adapt as life presents new opportunities.

How do you hope your teaching and/or research discoveries impact the world?

By preparing the next generation for what industry wants and needs.
