About the Program

Program is no longer accepting new students.

The Kiewit Scholars Program invests in students with exceptional leadership potential to develop passionate future engineers who are ready and eager to solve problems of global significance. The cohort-based program includes both scholarship support (renewable up to five years) and annual programming.

Through the program students will gain the skills and knowledge they need to become world-class engineers and leaders. Selected students will experience opportunities focused on the three pillars of the program:

Leadership
Team Building
Professionalism

Each pillar augments the communication, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills already developed through the existing ABET-accredited curriculum. Students have the opportunity to develop through leadership coursework, special group activities, unique travel opportunities and unparalleled exposure to industry.
