How to Apply
All LZJTU students in the 2+2 program must apply for admission to Iowa State University. Students can apply by going to the International Student Admissions website.
Step-by-Step Guide to Applying
| Step | Task |
| 1 | Register as a non-programmed student at Lanzhou Jiaotong University at the beginning of the semester according to the registration date in your admission letter. |
| 2 | Go to the International Cooperation and Exchange Office at LZJTU and turn in applications forms completed. (Download forms to complete.) |
| 3 | Do a question and answer session about the programs with student and your parents. Students are interviewed. |
| 4 | Apply for Admission to Iowa State. |
| 5 | Attend the programmed class and continue study in your department. |
