Professional Develop Program is a nine-week program designed for undergraduate engineering international students, and all Cyclone engineers are welcome to participate.
Program Highlights
Participants meet one-on-one with the student coordinator to review their resume, practice elevator pitch, and discuss internship and job searches.
Weekly Meetings cover the following topics: Marketing Yourself, Resume and Cover Letter Development, Designing an Elevator Pitch, Networking, Job Search Nuts and Bolts for International Students, Strengths Quest Inventories and how to use your strengths, Leadership Styles, and Types of Interviews (STAR, 1st/2ndRound, and informational)
Industry Visit with other International students
Participants who finish the program received an Iowa State University portfolio and certificate
