Prior to joining the Center for Multiphase Flow Research and  Education, Jan was the Center Coordinator for a research center in Entomology. Before becoming a Program Coordinator, she managed a number of laboratories in a variety of biological fields, including immunology, microbiology, plant science, and molecular biology.
