Recipients are required to participate in a study abroad experience for six weeks or more during the spring, summer, or fall 2011 semester in order to be eligible for the scholarship. Students must also meet the following criteria:
- GPA: 2.80 or above
Preference will be given to students who have a fourth semester level or equivalent in a foreign language and have not previously received this scholarship.
Students need to:
- Study abroad for a minimum of six weeks or more;
- Volunteer to talk about their international experience to ISU students and possibly within the John Deere organization, as requested, and provide a written testimonial of their international experience.
