Stiles Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Iowa State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University and subsequently completed a Miller Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining Iowa State, he was a faculty member at Purdue University.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Professor Wu\u2019s research focuses on the design and understanding of advanced nanomaterials for sustainable energy, catalysis, and chemical manufacturing, including two-dimensional metal carbides known as\u00a0MXenes, high-entropy alloys, thermoelectric materials, and nanoscale catalysts. His work has been published in leading journals, including Nature, Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Catalysis, and Nature Communications. His honors include the Iowa State University College of Engineering D. R. Boylan Eminent Faculty Award for Research, the AIChE Nanoscale Science and Engineering Forum Young Investigator Award, the DuPont Young Professor Award, and Iowa State University\u2019s Mid-Career Achievement in Research Award.
