Interest Areas

As an experimentalist, I regard unveiling accordances and discrepancies between ideal models and reality as one of my goals. Therefore, during the last decade, the focus of my studies has been discerning the limits of the practical applicability of equations and theories commonly used to describe the wetting behavior of materials, at high/low temperatures and long/short time scales.

My main research topics are summarized as:

  • Wettability
  • Drop Triple Line Dynamics at low and high temperatures
  • Drop Impact
  • Drop Evaporation
  • Multi-Phase Thermal-Fluid Dynamics (Heat Transfer, Pressure Drop, Flow Patterns)
