As a Founders Edition season, teams may continue using their existing equipment, including SPIKE, EV3, and other LEGO materials. There is\u00a0<strong>no requirement<\/strong>\u00a0for teams in Iowa to purchase LEGO\u2019s new Computer Science and AI kits to participate in the 2026-2027 season.<\/p>\n<h2>Looking Ahead<\/h2>\n<p>We recognize that updates like these can bring questions, and we will continue to share information as it becomes available.<\/p>\n<p>The Iowa State University College of Engineering remains dedicated to providing high-quality, engaging K-12 STEM experiences for Iowa youth.
