Why Engineering: I’ve just always loved the problem-solving aspect of Engineering and all the applications and possible fields that engineers can make a difference in.

Favorite ISU Memory: There are so so many, and they’re all attributed to the friendships that I’ve made here, which I’m extremely grateful for. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the FHP retreats I participated in in the last three years.

Something Unique About Me: I was born in Brazil and lived there for about half of my life. I moved to the United States in 2011 and just became a naturalized citizen last month!

Words of Wisdom: Something I realized a little later in college is that being involved deeply in fewer activities is much more rewarding than being involved in a lot of things at a surface level. Find what you like, and put your whole heart into it! 🙂
