Iowa State Engineering Kids is a program developed by the Iowa State College of Engineering to inspire youth to pursue an education in science and engineering.

Innovate-IT is an extracurricular program for high school students to get excited about information technology. Through hands-on, inquiry-based learning, students can explore robotics, game design, and cyber defense. Students can form an Innovate-IT Club at their school or extracurricular group with an advisor or mentor. The only cost to clubs is to purchase materials (if applicable) and transportation to/from the IT-Showcase. If you would like to apply for funding through the Iowa STEM Scale-Up Program, please visit their website. You do not need to apply through the STEM Scale-Up Program to participate in Innovate-IT.
