Hi! My name is Kira Schulze and I am currently a junior in Civil Engineering. I am originally from Osceola, WI. I have been in ELE since freshman year and have loved every second of it! I am club president and my goal for you is that after coming to our club you are well prepared to face any challenges engineering may throw at you. We want you to develop strong leadership skills and practice professionalism. In my free time I love to be outside, hang out with friends, and enjoy time on the lake. This past spring I attended Swansea University in Wales for a semester abroad. Please reach out with any questions about our club or getting involved! I hope to see you all at meetings!<\/p>\n

I\u2019m Victor Mendez, the treasurer for Emerging Leaders in Engineering. I\u2019m a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University, and I\u2019m originally from Ottumwa, IA. I\u2019ve been part of ELE since my freshman year, I really enjoyed coming to meetings and was motivated to join the leadership team. In my free time, I like hanging out with friends, watching soccer, and playing with my cat. I\u2019m also involved in the SolidWorks Club; I find designing things super fun!<\/p>\n

Hello, my name is Martin Troy and I’m studying Mechanical Engineering as a Freshman. I grew up in Naperville, IL, and just love to be with friends, any kind of exercise, and watching good movies. Despite me being a little newer to Iowa State, I’ve been attending ELE since the my beginning here and have really enjoyed the community and experiences I’m coming across. I’m super excited for this semester to see what’s in store.<\/p>\n
