Seeded Idea

In the way a flower grows this ceramic piece is quite similar. First a seed is planted, much like a thought or idea in one’s own mind. An idea waiting to propagate and escape. A thought gasping to reach the light of the outside world. It begins to grow out of the ground, out of the mind, almost out of control. The idea takes root in the ground and declares the right to live and survive. Buds begin to turn into flowers, pushing this thought into full bloom. This plant screams its destiny, and displays its idea for the world to see. It screams out to be remembered, that one day someone will keep that same dream alive. As the plant begins to die the physical idea starts to become lost, and soon all that is left is an echo of a once screaming idea. An idea that died to be remembered.
