Program for Women in Science and Engineering

    STEM is for Everyone

The Program for Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) is a supportive and empowering community for all students majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline. We provide engaging experiences and meaningful connections so that our WiSE students excel in their studies, approach their career with confidence, and become leaders in their communities.

    • Living

      Living

WiSE has 11 living communities, located in residence halls across campus. Meet other WiSE students, find your community, and join study groups all within your residence hall.

When I first came to Iowa State I didn’t know anyone and I wanted to form a community. With WiSE I was able to form forever bonds and make this big campus feel a lot smaller. Whenever I walk into the WiSE office, I'm confident I’ll see at least one person I know.
