Airworthiness Assurance Center of Excellence

The main purpose of this center is to develop advanced technologies that will be a key factor in maintaining the U.S. leadership role in aviation safety and global competitiveness in aviation systems. The emphasis at Iowa State is on improvements in inspection technology used for safe design, manufacture, and operation of commercial aircraft and their engines.
