The Engineering Policy and Leadership Institute will present the first of this year's lectures on Tuesday, November 10, at 7 p.m. in the Alliant Energy-Lee Liu auditorium in Howe Hall on the Iowa State campus. John G. Voeller, ASME White House Fellow in the Office of Science and Technology Policy and principal architect of POWRTRAK, the automated engineering system of Black & Veatch that was used to build over 500 power facilities around the world, will speak on "Energy in the Coming ERA of Insufficient Plenty." The presentation is in conjunction with the Technology, Globalization and Cultures course.
