FIRST LEGO League Iowa Championship held at Iowa State

On Saturday, January 17, 72 teams of 9- to 14-year-olds came to Iowa State to compete in this year’s FIRST LEGO League Iowa Championship. The goal was to build a LEGO robot capable of competing in assigned tabletop missions. The students, in keeping with this year’s Climate Connections theme, also researched how climate affects their own communities, created a solution to that problem, and shared what they learned.
