ISU bioplastic strength research contributes to effort to trim landfill overload

 

David Grewell, an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, is working with other researchers at Iowa State to improve the strength of bioplastic materials. The intent is to replace oil-based plastics, which currently take several hundred years to break down in a landfill. To read more, click here.
