DOE Solar Decathlon 2009 team gearing up for competition

 

A team of Iowa State students was selected in January as one of 20 international teams to compete in the Department of Energy Solar Decathlon to be held in fall 2009 (click here for original news release). ISU’s team, including 10 engineering students and two engineering student groups, is currently designing a solar home to be erected next year on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
