The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) Student Chapter at Iowa State University is hosting a software workshop aimed at demonstrating various software packages available for the analysis of the geotechnical and structural systems. Presenters from ISU, comprised of high level graduate students, have been selected to showcase the software they use regularly in their research. These software packages include, STADD, LPILE, OpenSees, and SAP2000. There will also be a guest speaker, Baskar Ganapathysubramanian from the mechanical engineering department at Iowa State University, who will be giving a seminar on the modeling of materials.
Register for the event.
