LEAD Awards and Networking Banquet

Engineering Diversity Affairs and the Leadership through Engineering Academic Diversity (LEAD) Program invites you to the annual LEAD Awards and Networking Banquet on Friday, April 4, 2008 from 6:00-9:00 pm in the Scheman Building. This celebration showcases students’ academic accomplishments throughout their experience at Iowa State and honor graduating seniors. Not only will students be commended on their academic accomplishments but they will also be able to network with peers, faculty and staff, and corporate leaders and recruiters from industry.

This event is one of the last opportunities for students to network with each other and staff as well as for engineering student organizations to present on their accomplishments for the academic year. Parents of students receiving awards and graduating seniors will be invited to the event as well. By providing students with the opportunity to attend this event, the College showcases the talents of multicultural students and provides industry with the opportunity to interact with students.

Companies will have the opportunity to sponsor a table at the event. The cost for sponsoring a table is $500 and space is available for up to 10 companies. Each table will have eight students and up to two company representatives. The students will consist of the majors requested by the sponsor.
