College of Engineering Budget and Planning

Message from the Dean

Jonathan Wickert, Dean, College of EngineeringAs a result of the reduced state appropriation, the College of Engineering is facing a significant financial challenge. This Web site has been created to share information about the budget reduction and approaches that are being taken, or could be taken, to deal with it. I believe that it is helpful for faculty, staff, and students to share ideas on this process. This Web site will also be used to post responses and information about some of the more frequent suggestions for designing and balancing the college’s budget.

Thank you for all that you do for the engineering college, and for your understanding as we adapt to these challenging economic times.

Jonathan Wickert
Dean of Engineering
