
Aerospace engineering senior Molly E. White has received the Iowa State University 2009 Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) Student Employee of the Year Award and the Student of the Year Award for the State of Iowa granted by the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators (MASEA). AerE Professor Dale Chimenti and Professor and Chair Tom Shih nominated White for the Iowa State award.
White was selected from a group of 24 students nominated from across campus. The OSFA award is given to the student who best exemplifies the ideals of dedication, integrity, perseverance, and hard work coupled with compassion and scholarship. The Iowa State winner is then entered in the MASEA contest. These awards carry prizes including an Iowa State class ring donated by the Iowa State University Bookstore, framed certificates, and a $1,000 scholarship.
